Wii bricked by Metroid: Other M update

I don't know why, but the update required to play Metroid: Other M (4.3U, I think) pretty much killed my favorite system. The system was NOT modded. Posting this here, because people on some forums are saying that I am just trolling, when I'm really just asking for help. The text says: "The system memory is corrupt. Consult the owner's manual for troubleshooting." Sorry for the bad quality, it was uploaded from my phone, which has abysmally bad photo and video recording capabilities (I think my DSi takes better pics). Any tips on what to do would be greatly appreciated!

Gladly,I got my homebrew stuff back on my 4.3 Wii :D

  3. @sophiethetele Then your Wii is bricked.
You have to send it to Nintendo in order to get it repaired.

  4. Mine keeps doing that no matter what game I put in.

  5. Dude, ya dont need to update, if the Disk channel tells/says you need to update, the easier way to get past this is to run Neogamma and Gecko OS

  6. @iLazyMofo don’t hate, all consoles have problems

  7. So, I finally got my repaired Wii back (they didn’t give me a refurb, which is kind of strange), and it works perfectly now. Other M was definitely worth the trouble, too. The last boss was ****ing AWESOME.

  8. i didnt have any problem with mine so u might want to contact nintendo

  11. It forced me to update my wii, after the update, I could play my older games normaly, but I can’t play Metroid Other M!

  12. Call up Nintendo. I was worried mine was going to end up being bricked during that update as well, took much longer than the last one I did. No mods here either.
Game is apparently on a dual layer disc, and is bricking other people’s consoles as well.
