How to Install the Homebrew Channel on Wii 4.2U and 4.2E
PLEASE read this fully before doing anything in the guide. --- Requirments: -An SD Card. (Preferably 2GB, maybe a 1GB. I would recommend to NOT use an SDHC Card, which is 4GB and up.) -A computer. (If you didn't have one, you probably wouldn't have this guide.) -A Wii. (To modify.) -A WiiMote. (It's important, you know?) --- NOTE 1: I do NOT take ANY responsibility for the very unlikely chance of damage done to your Wii! I am simply making this guide to help those of who who don't have the HomeBrew Channel to install it safely. I also take NO responsibility for the illegal actions you may use this for. USE AND INSTALL AT YOUR OWN RISK!! --- NOTE 2: If you do not know what the HomeBrew Channel is, please read the wiki at en.wikipedia.org before following the guide. --- NOTE 3: This should work on at LEAST Wii System Menu Regions of NTSC (U), PAL (E), and maybe NTSC-J (J). This may not work on Korean Wiis, since "Korean Wiis are modded differently.". If your Wii is Korean, I recommend not following this guide. --- NOTE 4: This should ONLY be done on Wii System menus of 4.2, nothing else. I have no idea if it will work on any lower version. --- --- Download link for needed files: MediaFire: www.mediafire.com (.zip) MegaUpload: www.megaupload.com (.rar) If you have trouble with the video tutorial, this download has a written guide inside. --- --- More Wii hacking tutorials coming soon.
