How to Install The Homebrew Channel, BootMii, and DVDx on Wii Version 4.2

Once again, Team Twizzers has found a loophole in Wii System Menu 4.2 to install the Homebrew Channel. Update 4.2 kills the Bannerbomb exploit, but Team Twiizers have managed to launch there awesome exploit via the SD Card Menu, so Bannerbomb is still alive! TURN OFF WIICONNECT24 TO REFRAIN A BRICK 100%! BESURE TO UPDATE THE HOMEBREW CHANNEL ONCE YOU FINISHED INSTALLING IT! ITS GONNA TELL YOU WHEN YOU RUN IT! THE NEW UPDATE WILL STOP THE FREEZING!! The installer is the same as this one, just repeat the steps. ---BootMii--- HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! BootMii is a program that is installed in the boot2 of the Wii to prevent the Wii from executing the system menu before you power your Wii on. You can immediatly launch The Homebrew Channel from BootMii, and also make a full system backup incase you happen to brick your Wii. It is highly recommended that you install BootMii. How to install BootMii: Download the pack below, and place all of the contents into the root of your SD card. Next, plug in the SD card into the front of your Wii, and open the SD Card Menu "Load boot.elf/dol?" Should come up. Point the Wiimote to Yes and tap A. Wait for the exploit to load. @ZooM35000vr Are you sure you’re not using Wii System Menu 4.3? cIOS is not required but you can supposedly try, If you intend to do more hacking to your Wii you can install cIOS. Installing BootMii as a IOS will let you launch BootMii from the HOMEBREW CHANNEL insted of it launching when you power on your Wii, IOS installation is NOT recommended incase you brick your Wii. If it does not work as boot2, you can try Preloader.

I can’t install bootmii as boot2… what do I do?? lol. do I need cIOS or something to install it as boot2? I can only install as IOS…. What does installing it as IOS do?

@shinodaa. No. You need to use a SD card only since there is no wsy to launch bannerbomb via USB.

@Supereverything01 Reactivate WiiConnect24, and make sure your internet connection is working. It may also already be updated. You put the save data extractor folder in a folder called “apps”. Thats where you place all your homebrew apps.

@Supereverything01 You can use hacks on Nintendo WFC games, but dont use them online. Nintendo will ban your Wii from WFC.

@darkstylezvideo You will not get banned from Wifi if you dont use cheats, you can have the Homebrew Channel and go online, but not use cheats online.

Well first, istallation only takes 30 seconds. And i dont think “thats WAY too long.” Second, theres about 500 of these tutorials so dont post a retarded cmment on mine. And lastly, dodnt watch the video if youre not gonna do it. Thank you, my job here is done.
