   @unrealtron Did you install bootmii as boot2 or IOS when you installed the homebrew channel through bannerbomb? make sure you instaleled one of those, preferably boot2 if you can. thats the only solution i can think of.

   @nebur80 If you have the retail Wii Sports resort that you own, then yes you can still play it, your wii can do anything it used to. If you have a backup copy, then you need to softmod your wii. If your wii is one of the newer ones, then it can’t play burnt disks, but it will be able to play from usb drive. Check out your YouTube channel, I posted the link to my favorite guide

   @CrazyVideoGamer815 I installed HBC, didn´t do anything else, I can´t uninstall HBC? Can I still play the original Wii sport resort with HBC only installed. which is the softmod guide do you used on your wii or which do you recomend. Thank´s

   @nebur80 I can’t install as boot2 either…If your going to just play games off of a HDD, then it is 100% safe. The only times it wont be safe are playing brand new games that want an update(only on disks). If you load them onto your HDD then your fine. But just make sure you install priiloader onto your wii, the 2nd best anti-brick you can use (next after bootmii as boot2)…it wont recover from a full brick though, but it is rare to full brick unless you delete an IOS

   Hello CrazyVideoGamer815, I have a wii black 4.2E and I instal the HBC and Bootmii (as an IOS), now I´m afraid of a brick, because if it was a Boot2, I could recover the wii nand but this is more dangerous. I just want to play backup games from an HDD. How dangerius can it be?

    @Maxwell0559 I used to believe you could do that, but you can’t. The wii NAND is specifically for that wii and you cant overwrite it with any other NAND.. It would be freakin sweet if you could though. But if you send a bricked wii into nintendo (provided that they dont know why it is bricked and they cant fix yours) they send you a wii with your info, but thats probably cuz they load your info on a blank motherboard.

    Can you tell me if you can copy your NAND from a modded wii, and copy it directly to another wii (modded or not modded). Will your NAND overwrite the system making it the exact same as your Wii? Essentially duplicating your wii onto another wii? I can’t seem to find the answer anywhere.

    @rsboy786 If you can install as boot 2, do that. If you cant install as boot 2, install as boot IOS. It wouldn’t hurt to install as both but it really isn’t necessary because boot 2 is all you really need.

    @rsboy786 I think you can cycle through with the reset eject and power buttons…im not sure though cuz i havent tested it, and i havent been to bootmii in a long time

    @SonicShadowSilver77 If you install bootmii as an IOS you can only restore it from a Semi-brick, which can be easily solved using priiloader instead of rolling back your wii…If you can install it as boot2, I, along with many other wii hackers,would suggest that you install it as boot2. You can unbrick any wii by reinstalling whatever you uninstalled or overwrote by going to the homebrew channel and using wad manager.

    Ok I just finished makeing the backup. If my wii gets a full brick, i can use this to “bring my wii back to life” correct? Btw I installed bootmii as an IOS.

    You can also banner brick your wii by installing out of region VC or WW wads that havent been region free patched, but I dont think that happens with 4.2 users, because I have installed many Japanese and PAL wads without bricking my wii, they just wont play when you try to play them.

    @SonicShadowSilver77 1.) that’s not a stupid question cuz your just being careful, that’s smart
    2.)No you can’t, the only way to brick your wii is by screwing with the IOSes and System menus, just don’t uninstall anything if you dont have bootmii installed as boot 2. Also, the only ones you really need to mess with are 222 223 249 and 250. If you have any other questions ask me, I know just about everything to wii hacking
