Hacking Modding Nerd: How to install the Homebrew Channel on the Nintendo Wii, Menu Version 3.0 - 4.2 using bannerbomb. Update: This doesn't work for Menu Version 4.3, Watch my other video for Wii menu Version 4.3: www.youtube.com You will need: -A Wii console -An SD card -A computer (PC, Mac or Linux) with internet access -And SD card reader for your computer 1. Format the SD Card. 2. Download: Bannerbomb: Wii Menu ver. 3.0 - 4.1 bannerbomb.qoid.us or Bannerbomb: Wii Menu ver. 4.2 bannerbomb.qoid.us 3. Download: HackMii Installer bootmii.org or bootmii.org 4. Extract both Bannerbomb and HackMii installer. Winrar PC x86 (32bit) www.rarlab.com or Winrar PC x64 (64bit) www.rarlab.com Winrar Mac OS X www.rarlab.com Winrar Linux www.rarlab.com or Winrar Linux x64 www.rarlab.com 5. Open up the "hackmii_installer_beta3" folder. 6. Copy file boot.elf to your SD card. 7. Copy the "private" folder to your SD card. 8. Go to WiiBrew.org Click the Application link. 9. Download the application you want. Homebrew Browser (Download apps to the SD Card using the Wii if it is connected to the internet) www.codemii.com MPlayer CE (Media Player: Play CD's DVD's & USB Devices ect.) mplayer-ce.googlecode.com 10. Extract the applications. 11. Create a "apps" folder on the SD Card. 12. Copy the extracted folders to the "apps" folder (each folder should contain an boot.dol file) 13. Power on your Wii. 14. When I am at the Hack Mii Installer,
I do not see a DVDX option. and also,
I tried to Install BootMii (as boot2 and IOS),
and it says “FAILED-1″ any idea why this happens?

i downloaded the homebrew channel but nothing happens, it jus shows the bubbles inthe background and homebrew at the bottom wit the sqaure at the bottom right glowin but not the one beside it , help?

everyone was a newb once… You can use hackmii to delete and install the Homebrew Channel and it won’t affect your apps

hi i am really noob so here are nooby questions XD… If i reinstall the homebrew channel, will it affect my homebrew apps? also IF i reinstall the homebrew channel, do i have to delete it first or jsut install it again with hackmii? thanks!

Sound’s Like your Wii is bricked, I don’t think there is a way to recover it.

You could easily use less then 1 GB though I use 2 GB, and Yes, you will need a way to copy the files to the SD card.
