  1. @Sensadire correct.

  2. So you don’t need the Zelda game for this one?

  3. @Sonicrega There are loop holes around the laws that those sites use. There are also way too many of them to shut down. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t think rom sites are a bad thing at all. It beats paying tons of money for Wii’s virtual console games. I have tons of NES, SNES, Genesis, GBA, and MAME roms myself. I’m just stating that it’s still not exactly legal, but the laws really aren’t enforceable unless you download current games and sell them.

  4. @OldsXCool

Dude, if they were so illegal the sites would’ve been shut down by now.

  5. @AisuSeijin I agree, but that’s not my point. Downloading a rom from a site whether you own it or not is illegal. Making your own copies is legal. I’m not saying that I’m opposed to downloading roms, I have plenty of them. Manufacturers could come after you but like you stated it’s just not worth it or they don’t care, unless your distributing for money.

  6. @OldsXCool

Additionally, there have been very few cases where anyone was actually arrested, imprisoned, or fined for having ROMs. From a business point of a view, and from a human point a of view, going after people for this isn’t practical, and they honestly don’t care. The reason why certain rom sites never get shut down, is because they’re either out of country, or like I said, they just don’t care.

  7. @OldsXCool

Actually, if you look into the laws, having ROMs of games is not illegal, although game companies would like you to think that. In all honesty, unless you’re mass distributing the files, you don’t own the game, or such companies care enough to go after you because you’re harming their profits in some way, it’s not something anyone should worry about. For example, if you have an old copy of Sewer Shark and you copy it to your computer, that’s 100% legal.

  9. @wiisixtyfour It’s a federal offense, that means it’s country wide.

  10. @OldsXCool depends on where you live; some places it is legal, so long as you own the game

  11. @GREGMAX111 haha yeah she has terrible teleprompter skills, I’m pretty sure they keep her around for her looks.

  12. @wiisixtyfour Correction. Roms you download period are illegal whether you own the game or not. However seeing as there are a ton of rom sites that never get shut down, I doubt anyone is going to jail unless you’re caught selling it to people.

  13. @UglymanUSA nope, SD slot should work fine

  14. @TheStarWarsLife If you’re on 4.2 you need bannerbomb V2 and you go to the SD menu instead of settings
