   @TheGraySun77 the games I was talking about were games like Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, Super Smash Bros, etc. but in a game like Punch Out, yeah motion controls are fine.

   @DARTHPIZZAROLL Well, that’s going to depend on the fighting game, although I think most people would agree with you that most fighting games benefit from a standard control scheme (please note the lack of absolutes in my modifiers).

   It’s sad, I like my wii, but i remember only getting one game for it this year, and it was a fairly crappy port of a good game. Oh well.

    I agree Zelda is genius but it’s only one game.
    Including the Zeldas, how many hardcore gamer’s games are there for the Wii?
    For the PS3 and 360 there are dozens and dozens.
    I remember the SNES days when Nintendo was THE choice for hardcore gamers. Now it seems like Nintendo are content to be either a kid’s choice or a secondary choice for gamers who already have xbox or playstation.
    I resisted buying an xbox or playstation for literally a decade, but Nintendo pushed my loyalty too far.

    @DrunkenPoetic Jsut like MP of shooters theyre jsut minigames that are jsut the same over and over trying to beat your scores. Well i can do the same with Zelda. Making Zelda even longer than it actually is. Playing MW3 or BF3 MP is making the game longer than it actually is.

    @DrunkenPoetic thats only true this year. 2011 was the worsed gaming year for the Nintendo wii.
    all the other 4 years were great. and you could buy a new game evry two weeks.
    AND the thing is if you have games like zelda and metroid and mario those games are LONGER than most ps3 and 360 games.
    Example Battlefield singel player 4-5 hours. Zelda- 45-70 hours. See what im saying? don’t tell me: Multi player!!! MP is just a minigame Zelda haves mini games i can play them over and over

    I’m sick of defending Nintendo.
    Even though nothing compares to a new Mario, Zelda or Metroid, those games are just too few and far between.
    Same problem as the Gamecube and even the N64 to some extent.
    360 and PS3 have interesting games coming out each week. You always have a choice.
    But with Nintendo your only choice is to wait another three months for the new Zelda.
    I hate to say this but it’s true.
