   @NixxGrimBlood – best comment ever! imo, in the movies, the powerful characters inc obi wan, yoda, windu etc seemed powerful but it didnt show what their full capacity was, then the novels like ”path to destruction” (the thought bomb) proved that when one reaches and utilizes full potential in the force, they end up like stakiller.

   @TheMayercraft I know, I was only mentioning the consideration view.

   At his full potential, and not a cyborg, Vader would have been the true Dark Lord of the Sith. Luke had the ability to surpass him true, but at his level when they fought he would have simply been far too inexperienced to fight against Vader effectively. Palpatine would have already lost his position as was his original plan, continuing the Sith line and all that. Galen would probably have been the Vader in that position

   @NixxGrimBlood So true. I remember reading an Old Republic book in which there was a sith lord who was able to destroy whole valley of Jedi with what he called a “Force Bomb”.

   @Ss9Brock True, but that’s only from a design perspective that’s implemented into the story as well so as to make that comparison. Marek is powerful in his own right , and force sensitive parents breed force sensitive children with a strong connection to the force from birth. But also consider if Vader hadnt been maimed by kenobi how powerful he would of become, luke would not have stood a chance and palpatine would of been struggling to maintain his power base if not dead already

    @Odor66 a re-occuring theme in these games is that vader wants an apprentice, ask yourself why and you’ll see that, whilst he was promised power through palpatine, his actions and defeat on mustafar actually stunted his growth in the force considerably. Galen Mareks own force potential doesnt mean the chosen one prophecy is null and void , it just means he’s extremely powerful. If you want to see what power anakin could of had look at luke and you’ll see he became everything his father couldnt.

    @Odor66 before i’m scrutinized, i understand it’s simply for this game. But i thought the character and story behind Gaylen, should’ve been the story of Ani in the Prequels. The elements of this game (at least the first game) shouldve been Episodes 2-3 with Ani now as a Sith but NOT wearing the armor yet. The Jedi Order and the old Republic is destroyed as Ani seeks to find any remaining Jedi. Meanwhile, the Rebellion is born, Vader finds Obi, they have their final battle, etc…

    thing is though, with the way the Prequels especially Lucas seemed to prop up and regard Anakin so highly as a Force user, let alone dub him as “the chosen one,” over the simple fact he has the highest midicholrian count, creating this character almost seems to negate any importance Ani/Darth Vader had in his role as the sole reason for the hunting of Jedi which earned him his Sith name. If Vader was so powerful, why the need to have another seek to find any remaining Jedi?

    @marioradium Yep for sure , after He would own Sidious , He never wanted to rule alone . He might lost his humanity (till he meet his son) but still He never wanted to be alone .
