   Also not every artist or non artist may enjoy the art direction of either game; and may be into darker or more serious looking things; I know a few who are like that lol. Right now with one game I’m working on with some people, we were deciding if it should look more Tekken, or Street Fighter IV, without the steroid look lol. Went with the non roid SFIV look, because it still captures the grit and seriousness, but also melds very well with the graphic novel- the other look not so much.

   The artist in me is excited about the possibilities of what can be created and how, with the power (graphic art)… I wasn’t talking about Mario or Zelda’s art direction, which I have no problem with, and believe fits very well with the game; and were beautifully done. The games however don’t excite me as they used to, meaning I love Mario and Zelda, just not as much as I did when I was 14; I think you got confused ^_^

   Are you sure you’re an artist? I’m pretty sure REAL artists care for the ARTISTIC direction more than realistic looking visuals. Hell, there hasn’t been an adventure game like Zelda: Skyward Sword that almost looks like a moving reverse-impressionist painting. The Mario Galaxy duology are also artistic in its visual direction.

   At my Gamestop they are only allowing you to put $5 down on the Wii U games until the actual prices and release dates are announced. Once the release dates are announced, then you can the rest of whats needed for the game.

   No Sir. The touch pad supports 720p HD, While obviously an 1080p HDTV supports 1080p so if you want to play a game on the pad alone it’ll be lowered to 720p HD.. so i meant what i said.

    They didnt say something about the Videocart or whatever. So how do you know it will not be as powerfull as XBOX and PS3 ?

    The artist in me wants to see the best graphics, but I fully understand that quality of game is most important, is it fun? Lets see if the Wii U can bring that, I’m not captured by Mario and Zelda like I used to be, and party games don’t interest me. I wonder if Nintendo will do more of what was on the Wii, only slightly more powerful than the Wii.

    I dig the tablet and as an artist/designer got a really awesome idea for a game because of it. I love Nintendo gotta its what started me on games really, and I enjoy a Mario and Zelda every once in awhile. However Nintendo lost me really after Gamecube, then more so after I had gotten the Wii. I play my PS3 and 360 far more, and Wii U isn’t even as powerful as the two as many hoped (not surprised), some devs even say the PS Vita can do what it does.

    uh dude they released the SNES 11 years before xbox was even thought of they arent copying anything from Microsoft if anything Dreamcast and xbox copied Nintendo

    Already Pre ordered Assassins Creed 3, and ZombiU for the WiiU. As soon as the WiiU is up for preorder at Gamestop, im getting it!!!!

    Well, 22 years ago, there was a console called the SNES that had an A, B, X, and Y button layout. Nintendo has used that for other consoles, such as the GameCube and the Classic Controller for the Wii.
