Try and take a closer look at the levels. I don’t know about you, but the lack on HD in NSMB Wii was annoying, as I had to squint a lot. I don’t have the best vision.
Also, look at the clouds in that one level. Notice how they move so dynamically. I’m pretty sure in NSMB Wii they were just static.
The game looks super great to me, and it still keeps that graphic charm Nintendo’s known for, while stepping the graphics up a notch. Great job Nintendo!

How do you know this is the same engine?
. You can’t just port a engine from the Wii to the WiiU. Or you gonna remake that engine….

Yeah, but this is just a launch title. Hopefully the next Mario games will bring something fresh.

I agree, but it’s Nintendo. Let’s just hope they come out with some good games. I do think it’s not really impressive. I won’t buy this game just to have it sitting on the shelf.
