@petplatypus Well, for one, you can use GH instruments on Rock Band. I myself just used the GH5 guitar on RB2. But color me surprised; I didn’t know that having new instrument features would require new instruments. I was kinda expecting to be able to play the drums on my guitar when Rock Band first came out. Of course, GH:WoR also uses a large number of songs playable in Rock Band, but at least RB3 has good songs from old GH games.

@darkwater124 true lots of people get DLC even I do but the people who can’t get DLC don’t know whats downloadable rock band or Guitar Hero besides any song in rock band is always more fun to play on GH because guitar hero’s instrument are better sure rock band is adding a pro mode but that means buying more add ons and you do know RB3 set list is mostly old GH songs right

@petplatypus Only most people can get it… especially anyone who can read this.
Even still, the RB3 setlist is way better without dlc, never mind with an addition 1500 songs at launch.

rb1 had a decent set list, while rb2 got way better at there set list. I looked at the set list for rb3 and it sucks so bad. Im probably gonna get gh

@guitoorbenchi yeah i want that to happen, but young kids and parrents who dont really look into what they buy for their kids often choose Guitar Hero, im not really sure about the reason though maybe more advertising

@Wesdawg47 I’m betting on Rock Band 3 selling more because Guitar Hero 6 has more of a rock-centric setlist, while Rock Band 3 covers a wide range of music, as well as the keyboard.

Theres only 2 things I really see that Guitar Hero 6 has over Rock Band Rush’s 2112 and Kiss – Love Gun, but then Again, Rock Band has “Moving Pictures”. Everything else Rock band wins over.
