CGRundertow RAYMAN ORIGINS for Nintendo Wii Video Game Review
Rayman Origins review.Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Rayman Origins from Ubisoft for the Nintendo Wii. Rayman Origins is also available for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Nintendo 3DS and PlayStation Vita. Rayman Origins is a very special game. This isn't just a great video game and the return of a character who had been on life support, but it's a celebration of the very spirit of gaming...a spirit so often forgotten in the industry's self defeating aversion to the concept of color. This is a 2D platformer that brings Ubisoft's limbless wonder back to his roots, throwing players into a wacky world with strange creatures, surreal landscapes and a playful exuberance. Eyes bug out of sockets, enemies explode like over inflated whoopee cushions and Rayman reminds us why we loved video games in the first place. This video review features video gameplay footage of Rayman Origins for the Nintendo Wii and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek. I think poor sales just show you that not every game needs a 60 dollar price tag,if it was 40 or a bit less i bet it would have been fine.

Hope more games of rayman will as good as this,
January 3rd, 2012 - 23:15

@Laughingtrololololo Why u hate skyward sword, that is the best game of the year and one of the best games of all time (but still think rayman is an excellent and great looking game).

Actually, it is.

Somehow I like this game more than the first one on the original Playstation. Something about the freedom in movement, the improved melee attacks, the extended replayability and what other reasons I didn’t point out, just makes this game so much more than a welcome comeback to the Rayman series. Thank you Ubisoft!!

@DanJ30
It’s better than SS actually, that game is boring as shit, talking to NPCs endlessly and solving stupid puzzles, really fun.
This game is way more fun.

@GoldeneyeFanMan yea it better on the wii,because you can hold the wii remote sideways,so it feel like your using an nes controller.Except it feels better because the wii remote is more rounded where as the nes controller was just a rectangular controller with no ergonomics at all.but the nes controller is still awesome.

I’m going to pick this up tomorrow for the PS3, it’s only $30 at gamestop

@AQreviews How you mean “But you could wait for the Wii-U and play it on there in HD
“ Will they make a new version for the Wii U or? in that case i will wait to get it.

@GoldeneyeFanMan uuhhh im pretty sure the xbox or ps3 has better…and the only shooter i own on xbox is halo………this comment is invalid by all means…plus i can play it in HD on my flatscreen without it looking like shit on 480p so i can enjoy the enviroments
