   @cobanermani456 A next generation system is considered as a new innovation system that is not comparable to previous or current generation consoles, Wii U is like that in some parts.

   The Wii U uses similar graphics of DirectX 10.1 while the PS3 and Xbox 360 use DirectX 9.0c.
   So the Wii U is 50% faster than the PS3 and Xbox 360

   Im actually really interested in the wii u but wont by it till few months after launch to see how it goes might jump ship from my ps3.

   The zelda demo was the dev kit 50% of what a wii u will be capable of at launch.

   People don’t realize that having the latest graphics does not make it a “next-gen console” It’s how the hardware and software brings a step forward in the entertainment industry and for consumers, i.e. the Wii mote or Kinect, sure you may think it’s crap but it did change how many people enjoyed games, whether you like it or not.

   the wii, was a revelution for a year, but than it comes down to the controller ( user interface)
   is it really practical to use for games BESIDES motion sensitive games made for the will only?

   @kolinmartz mate, if the PS4 or NextBox are just the PS3/Xbox360 with more graphics and same old controllers/inputs as before than that to me is not enough to be considered “next gen”. Cause a new generation means a new innovation and right now Wii U probably has the most innovation potential I have ever seen to date. Just wait for e3 2012.
