This game has one of the best soundtracks on the Genesis. The composer is a genius. This is probably my favorite Beat ‘em up.

I own a Genesis.
And I own this game.
And I found it second-handed at a local second-hand stuff shop.
Therefore, all I can say is: YESSSSS!!!!

Check it out. Insane amount of moves, 4 characters (5 in vs mode), multiple path-picking where you pick 7 out of 12 different stages to go through the game, very good 16-bit music and awesome gameplay!

Any respect for Golden Axe 3?
Those GA3 and SoR2 are in a tight competition to be the best beam-em ups in MD.

where do i get this game on my wii.?
October 18th, 2010 - 05:57
definately the best game ever. i actually played this before playing the original version, so when i did play it i was like who the hell is adam, so i couldn’t really upset about that, and axel will always be my favorite character anyway. after all, the japanese version is “bare knuckle”, and his uppercut move is called, bare knuckle.

Streets of Rage 2 and Street Fighter 2 are my favourite games of all time.SOR 2 is the best side scrolling beat’em up of them all.The music by Yuzo Koshiro was fantastic.

I was a fan of these games back when they came out, but they are pretty repetitive and dumbed down. And I hate these games where your enemies fly off the screen and you have to wait around for them.
October 18th, 2010 - 09:34
I was disappointed when I could not actually have online multiplayer with it
