Mario Kart Wii – Play custom tracks using ONLY an SD card – NO HOMEBREW CHANNEL REQUIRED!
That's right... as long as you have an SD card, you can now play custom tracks, NO modding, nothing else, it doesn't matter what version/region your Wii is or anything. Here's how it all works: Introducing, Riivolution. This is neither mine nor Chadderz's work. Riivolution was coded by AerialX, and is an on-the-fly file replacement system for Wii. It reads both the game disc and SD card at the same time, and tricks the Wii into thinking that it should be loading from the SD card sometimes, not the game disc. Which means you can insert custom material on the SD card and the Wii will load it right up. The purpose of Riivolution is to enable the easier creation of game mods. And frankly, it's fulfilling its purpose wonderfully here. So, if you want to get the custom tracks, first, if you DON'T have a Homebrew Channel, check your version number. If you're running Wii version 3.0 - 4.1, download this: www.megaupload.com Mirror: www.4shared.com If you're running Wii v4.2, download this: www.megaupload.com Mirror: www.4shared.com Or if you are running a Homebrew Channel (any version), download this: www.megaupload.com Mirror: www.4shared.com Inside each ZIP archive is a readme with instructions of how to use them. These are full download packs containing EVERYTHING you need to play custom tracks (including the tracks themselves). You should read the readme, do as it says, and before you know it, you'll be playing the custom tracks too. it's not a hard procedure at all

How come the tracks files sometimes get corrupted after awhile? It gets annoying because then I have to remove everything from my sd card and then format it to get rid of the corrupted files, and then I have to put the uncorrupted files back on.
