    @edzoologist2 they did this so taht players wouldnt feel so helpless if they lost their ability during say a boss fight and wouldnt be getting a new ability any time soon

    Okay, I know this is the worst time to mention this, but I just wanted to point out that I have found that using the stars enemies drop during the battle is a more damaging way of fighting them than using powers. As such, for future reference, I would recommend trying it out to see how it works out for ya.
